Terrible management. Even after paying everything ordered by the Landlord and Tenant Board, CAPREIT still passed my personal info to collectors and damaged my credit. Tenants deserve respect, not harassment.
Absolutely terrible experience with CAPREIT. After moving out and fully paying everything ordered by the Landlord and Tenant Board, they still disclosed my personal information to a collection agency and allowed them to harass me for a debt that does not exist. This caused unnecessary stress and even affected my credit report. CAPREIT shows complete disregard for tenants’ rights, privacy, and fair treatment. I would strongly warn anyone considering renting from them – think twice before dealing with this company.
Horrible Experience – Unethical Company After moving out, they started sharing my personal information and sent false debt claims to collection agencies. I left the apartment in perfect condition and owed nothing, but still received threats from collectors. This is harassment and a complete violation of privacy. Management ignores messages and refuses to resolve the issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone – they destroy your credit history for no reason!
Be very careful with this company! When you move out, they share your personal data without consent and report fake debts to collection agencies — even if you owe nothing. This caused me stress, financial damage, and hurt my credit history. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Stay far away from this place if you value your privacy and peace of mind!
