Dr. Ateshim is an excellent internal medicine doctor at Kaiser Permanente. He is very professional, patient, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel comfortable and respected during every visit. I never feel rushed, and I truly appreciate how attentive and thorough he is. I highly recommend Dr. Ateshim to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate physician.
It is unfortunate that Google will not allow me to give zero stars. This is a doctor who giving 1 stars to makes all the other 1 star doctors look like 5 star doctors when put up against Dr. Yonas G. Ateshim. I got so frustrated that I asked him for his medical license number. He said he didn't know it. Then said asking for his medical license number was threatening him. Avoid - Arrogant AND Incompetent. While among the revolving door of doctors 'filling in' for my doctor while on vacation, I had the misfortune of having Dr. Ateshim assigned to attend to my Rx being sent to the wrong pharmacy. Being the 4th doctor in a row to mess this order up, each in their own unique way, Dr. Ateshim then proceeded to BERATE ME as if I am a difficult patient for insisting that I be able to actually access my prescription, saying, 'This is the 4th time, he is making us change the pharmacy.' Responsive with much respect
Not a very good listener recommends ibuprofen for everything or will say "I tell others the same" like what I'm not others .. I think these reviews are from family or a good friend of the family. He might be good at what he does, but my personal experience was very uncomfortable. I changed doctors.
