Tried to open an account with my newly turned 18 daughter. She had a considerable amount of money she wanted to deposit and start life as a grown up. Was essentially told "No" because YFCU won't take temporary ID from DMV (the DMV told us that some banks do). I am so disgusted with the lack of service I am seriously considering yanking all my accounts. When banks treat customers like they are doing us a favor I consider that backwards. They seem to forget they would not exist if customers vote with their feet.
