I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Song and his entire staff. I had surgery on my ear in April. His surgical staff took wonderful care of me and my nervous husband. They kept us well informed and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. My hearing improved quickly and I can now hear better than I have in years. I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Song. I would recommend him to everyone.
My son had a severely perforated eardrum that needed repair in order to go after his dream of attending the Naval Academy. Even more significant, he had hearing loss and couldn’t submerge in water without days of ear pain. He had it repaired by a different doctor when he was younger without success. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Song for a phenomenal, pain-free recovery! My journey started when my ear wouldn't pop when I yawned, followed by days of feeling a clogged, "airplane ear" sensation. It turned out to be a cholesteatoma. The doctor performed a Canal Wall Up (CWU) mastoidectomy, navigating around my hearing bones to clear the disease and place ear prosthetics. Dr. Song is amazing! I received a Cochlear Implant from him approximately 4 months ago with absolutely 0 complications! 3 months after activation of the Implant I have tested at 85% hearing in that ear! It takes up to a year to get to your optimal hearing. Highly recommend Dr. Song for his outstanding surgical skills as well as his caring and patient demeanor with my zillion questions. He truly cares about his patients!
Dr. Song is great! He took his time with me and listened. He is very compassionate and kind. When my local Ent finally decided to refer me to him they got me in right away. When I needed to see him again for progressing symptoms I was able to get an appointment quickly.
