Dr. Patel is very thorough and takes his time with his patients.
I saw Dr Patel immediately after a really bad two day flare up of pain and discomfort from my healing herniated discs. Although I believe he advised me the best that he could, there is some aspect of lack of experience that comes across when discussing treatment options with him. Patel said multiple times that I shouldn’t even have flare up’s at this point in my injury and that if I wouldn’t pursue surgery he wouldn’t excuse an absence from work. Tried for over a week to simply make an appointment. Wait on hold, transfer back and forth and never was called back after leaving messages. Meanwhile I'm in pain and no appointment.
Dr. Yogen Patel not only gave me hope when I thought I’d never run again due to foot issues from bulging discs, but he also made sure I had the most comprehensive care possible. He encouraged me to see a top physical therapist and referred me to a neurosurgeon to ensure every angle was covered. His attention to detail and genuine care were incredible. I wish I could give him 0 stars this man belittled my pain I have. Then told me to ignore other doctors telling me what I have wrong then he went low and belittled my mental health all because I was crying in his office with pain and he told me I need mental help. Then handed me a tissue and told me to clean myself up before I leave. He will be reported.
