Yobo?s opened in January of 1980. Upon extensive travels thru out the Orient, Henry and Yung Jae (Mita) Raacke decided to share their experiences and opened Yobo?s in Newburgh, New York. They created the first Pan-Asian restaurant. Offering cuisine from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China. The Raacke?s and Japanese artist Sasaki designed an outdoor village in an interior space. FANTASTIC service and great food. I wasn't happy with the size of my appetizer but the main course made up for it with a generous portion. Can't say enough about the drink selection with beers from various Asian countries as well as a great wine list. Will return!!!!!
I was at Yobo the night it opened back in 1980, and have been back hundreds of times since! We just enjoyed another wonderful meal here, this time for our anniversary. The food is always delicious, reasonably priced, and the level of service is second to none. My wife and I had our first dinner date here, and always choose Yobo for our intimate dinners or special occasions. It doesn’t matter whether for lunch or dinner. Please visit! You will not be disappointed!
Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Kids can't get enough of the Sesame Chicken!!
