I found YMR vets about two years ago And I’m so happy I did! I have had nothing but positive experiences every time I have taken my pets. I have taken my pets for routine, check ups and for health issues. I also had to take one of my pets to be put to sleep and they made that process so comforting. I cannot say enough about how my pets have been treated at YMR vets. All the people I have interacted with have treated my pets like their own.
Our fur babies have been taken to other vets in the valley, of which they are ridiculously overpriced and don't even get results in addressing the issues our fur babies are dealing with. I had heard of YMR Veterinary because my niece has been taking her fur babies here, especially for ongoing care for her elderly fur baby (Batman) and (Kujo). Such a great place to take your pets! I have taken two of my dogs and the atmosphere is so nice, not your typical vet experience. All the staff seem to enjoy their job, customer service is awesome. The vet takes her time, nothing feels rushed. Both of my frenchies had no issues and this will definitely be our go to place for our dogs. Wait time is reasonable, maybe an hour or two depending on what type of tests are needed. The best Veterinary staff in the valley!! Would recommend!!
We are so grateful to have found Dr. Rivera and her team! We’ve brought our foster dogs to them, and they truly understand the rescue crisis in the RGV and have helped us in so many ways. Our very first experience with them was actually during an emergency with one of our dogs, and I’ll always be grateful for how they handled such a scary situation.
