Very friendly staff, clean gym. Child watch area is so convenient
My six-year-old son attended the YMCA Summer Camp trip to Silver Lake Beach in Bellingham and had a great time. He enjoyed the kayaking activities and being with the other children. My concern is not whether the children had fun. My concern is that Silver Lake is a completely PUBLIC beach with unrestricted access. Anyone can enter at any time, and for a program that families pay a significant amount of money for, I was surprised by the choice of such an open public location.
