Fantastic cafe, the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious! Highly recommend and can understand why it is so busy! Lovely little place.
Not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. Service was slow, there was one waitress taking everyones orders and she clearly looked run off her feet and unhappy. The seats were uncomfortable, the temperature was somewhere between a greenhouse and a sauna, and the noise levels made having a conversation feel like an extreme sport. To add to the relaxing atmosphere, there was a queue of people at the door staring at everyone eating, seemingly trying to hurry us along through sheer force of will. Lovely cafe set on a working animal farm. Foods is lovely, service is good, atmosphere is nice and reasonably priced
Exceptional food, I had pancakes with fruit and honey. They were hot, just off the griddle, hot, soft and delicious. Good coffee too. I was on my own and, while very pleasant, it was too noisy for me. I guess a testament to how popular the Yew Tree is, as it was packed. Outside there were many lovely animals, a great opportunity to bring little ones.
