I had never met with Dr. Yergler before. When he made his “grand entrance “ into the exam room he went directly to his computer to review my X-rays without introducing himself. I’m thinking, “Who is this? I assume it’s the doctor, but…?” He stated that he has performed 20,000 joint replacements with none of his patients presenting with my issue. Professional doctor who told me what to expect both good and bad. Preparation will provide the opportunity for a better outcome. So I now prepare.
Great visit first appointment to evaluate for knee revision. He was able to pin point my issue and answered all questions. Would recommend him to others.
Dr. Jeffrey Yergler has taken excellent care of several family members with new hips and knees. Dr. Yergler will always be our first choice of Dr.

Poor bedside manor. Husband had knee replacement surgery. Dr never called me to let me know how things went or what they did. He went to his follow up appt but Dr Asst didn't really listen to his concerns. He told him he was weak and nauseous. Dr didn't do anything for him. Offered him more pain med; my husband said no because it was upsetting his stomach. He did not offer to give him something different. I went to Dr. Yergler with 1/4” limp and major pain in right hip. He said he could correct that with a replacement of hip if I needed one ..... I did. After hip surgery, my limp was 1 -1/4”.... he said new hip would come up and give it 6 mo. I gave it 8 mo, had to have a 1-1/4” outside lift put on 7 left leg shoes spending hundreds of $. I now have severe pain in lower back of the left leg when walking, bending, climbing stairs which is shorter than hip replacement leg. I found him very egotistical...
