SIMPLY AWFUL IN EVERY WAY. – I've ordered a number of times from Yen Wor - not because they serve good food (far from it), but because they're the only Chinese delivery I'm aware of in my area of West Seattle. I have now waited for two hours to get the sweet and sour sauce for the pork we ordered. I'm giving up after talking with them twice over the phone. I should have gone to Safeway and saved myself $30 - the food is of the same quality, anyway.

GO FOR KARAOKE Let me be honest, I have never eaten at this restaurant although my friends did and they liked it. This is a hidden gem for karaoke. Get there on a weekend around 9 so you can get a table for the show. I swear this place attracts some great talent and some crazy people. Their is a dance floor that you can dance on or the karaoke performers can really give you a show. They only have 1 bartender... probably the lady that owns the restaurant so getting any service just doesn't happen. They do have a server that c... read more

Oh well! – Long time Chinese in Admiral district. It exists because of the bar (cocktail license) and takeout. Not good. Except for the bar the place seems deserted most of the time. Very pedestrian Chinese.

we love it! – I love this place! It is definitely a dive AND a hole in the wall, but its a very fun place to go. We only started going there this year and we always bring a group. We usually come after work and have gotten food there every time we have visited. I've only had Broccoli and beef and the fried rice, mmmm! Not one of us has gotten sick, so I wouldn't be scared ;0) So I have to disagree with the others about the food, but I don't know what they have ordered :) The karaoke is hilarious, and depending on how intoxic... read more

My favorite place – I'm a regular. Like waaay too regular! I don't eat here. I don't think it will hurt you. But it is very "americanized" chinese food; and I'm not into corn starch or dry BBQ pork. HOWEVER, the "pagoda room" is great! (IE the bar) The karaoke host is still entertaining even after coming here for a year. Call him the "sound guy". He likes that. ;-) If it is a female karaoke host you are in for some very talented singing. Her rendition of Arethra Franklin is a trifle better then this middle age white dude can... read more

Bad Food, Fun Bar – I've had the food and have nothing good to say about it. It's terrible. And will most likely make you sick. Please listen to this review and the others that give this advice. Really really really really bad food. The bar is fun. If you go with friends to get tipsy and sing karaoke, it can be a blast. Sometimes it is overly crowded. The cocktail waitress and the bartender don't tend to communicate real well, so you tab can get all messed up, but that's the only hang up in the bar. The lady that does the ka... read more
