Last September when I dropped off my 2010 Toyota FJ for service, I was advised that the brakes on all four wheels needed to be replaced by the end of the year as they were all showing 4mm, (I still have the service paperwork to prove this). We don't drive the car long distances regularly, so I waited until I had a road trip planned to get the brakes replaced.
