Yellow Scene is a great magazine with solid standards for journalistic integrity, something very lacking in many publications today. The founder, Shavonne Blades, uses a very ‘grassroots’ approach to run the magazine and maintains it as a completely self funded publication. Terrible advertising format. Who puts an advertisement for a K-12 school next to a pot dispensary ad? They continued to make excuse after excuse for their poor service and even after I dropped them, they continue to harass me about advertising. From a business perspective, they are rude and not worth the money.
