While I am happy that the technician showed up on time and completed a simple light fixture installation for me, I am very dissatisfied with the office appointment setters. I was told on the phone that my cost for service should be covered by a $99 fee. To my surprise the final bill was $233! When explained, the actual fee is $99 + whatever service is provided. Very misleading. Realistically the job should have taken only 30 minutes to complete. I'll try a different electrician next time.
I have been disappointed with Yellow Dot systems. I now own my second home that had an HVAC system installed by Yellow Dot. My first home had a compressor line designed to fail within 5-6 years with a direct vertical leg after the compressor with no hard start accessory. The technician who came to diagnose the repair stated that it will fail every 5 or so years without a hard start pump, and proceeded to quote me $200 to install the 6$ capacitor that had blown [this price is after my "warranty"]. Absolutely horrible customer service. You call to have a warranty fixed and they never call you back. When you call them they say they called you and you did not answer the phone. Heaven forbid you have something going on in your life and you can not answer the phone. Then to top that off they tell you they had a technician go by your house and you were not home!
