Housed in a century-old structure that's also served as a private home, this atmospheric eatery features charming décor that calls to mind the general store it once was. Unlike those general stores, however, this one offers more than penny candy. Sandwiches are this eatery's hallmark, from roast beef with tomato to turkey and bacon clubs to curried chicken. A lunchtime crowd packs this place, and the restaurant does not accept reservations, so be forewarned.

Fun place to eat I love eating at Yellow Dog Eats. The sandwiches are named after different kinds of dogs. My kids love the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They come with shaved chocolate on them. Yum! The prices are good and the food is excellent. Great place for lunch! PROS: Fun and different CONS: none
deliciously eclectic I am visiting my children from the Denver, Colorado area. I found the restaurant very unique. The building was decorated in an eclectic way plus it was clean. I loved eating outside. We had bbq chicken, mexican mutt and the johnny rocket. The service was friendly. Thank you for a great dining experience.
A MUST ON THE LIST OF LISTS!!!!! The wait to get here was well worth every minute!!! From the front door to the back a happy place to be. Great food, great people, great DRINK, great TIME had by all young and old alike. Recommended to all as a MUST place to be and be seen and be heard. WHOOO HOOO we love FISH and BRYSON and all the guys!!! See you next year!!!!
GO THERE! Yellow Dog Eats is in a historic neighborhood in downtown Gotha. The atmosphere is quaint and interesting, and the food it tasty. This is an "afternoon drive" place if there ever was one. Don't miss it! PROS: Nice ambience, delicious food CONS:
Great little place This is a wonderful little restaurant tucked back in old Gotha. The owner is always there and soooo funny. They have lots of great nick-nacks to purchase. Many people sit outback on the porch. It is great place for kids. They have a chocolate/banana sandwich that is to die for.
Fun Place To Eat Creative Menu with an entertaining setting. Writing on the tables and unique style makes it a fun place for the family even if you have kids. They have a neat selection of different kinds of wraps with curry.
Great Pet Friendly Place to eat! The menu is not typical, I have been there a few times and everything I've had was very good. If you sit outside with your dog, they will bring water for puppy too! It's a cute little place that is fun and different. Dessert was great as well. Very casual and friendly atmosphere.
Food was very good. Different varieties of spices than I usually have. We all enjoyed. Dining area was hot, outdoor covered not sunny but still hot. Probably would have preferred indoor dining but none available. I would go back.
the food was very good and fresh. no waitresses, so be ready to order from the counter
