Rudest doctor I have ever met! She rushed me and argued with me about advocating for myself, which is my right. She called my self advocating “health anxiety” and it’s because of drs like her that some patients probably aren’t comfortable advocating. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! 0 stars if I could have.
My regular PCP was unavailable for a urgent clearance which required bloodwork with next day turnaround, she took 2 days to respond even though she had the results next morning with hesitation delaying my procedure. Dr. Stone was my worst nightmare she's Eastern European who lacks communication, cold, unempathetic and rude with a thick patronizing accent hard to understand. Awful doctor!! Her competency along with medical license should be reviewed. My grandmother visited her less than 24 hours before ending up in the ER for pneumonia and RSV. Any doctor that care would have listened when this lady told her, she doesn't feel well. Long story short, grandmother died and NYU kept this provider on staff. You're better off going to urgent care.
I went to Dr. Stone for an ongoing ear pain, and she turned my whole appointment into a physical. This turned the whole focus onto me being overweight. I know it’s a doctor’s job to talk about these issues, but it was not supposed to be a physical, it was strictly a sick visit. I had also brought up that I had a yeast infection from antibiotics I took to try to eliminate the ear pain.
