Dr. Yeh is amazing!
The directions given to reduce glucose levels involved an exceedingly unhealthy diet (daily diet of a 2%latte for breakfast, apple for lunch, and small bit of meat with vegetables for dinner) of 800 calories per day. She gave no directions on taking the medications she prescribed - thank goodness for my pharmacist. To relieve pain for my knee, surgery on which has been postponed due to the A1C numbers, Dr. Yeh prescribed oxy and said it was no problem to wean me off later for surgery. Did not listen to or validate my health concerns. Told me to take Advil for my severe pelvic pain and excess bleeding. Got a second opinion and I have extremely advanced pelvic inflammatory disorder- leading me to the Emergency room! Please learn to take patients concerns seriously and maybe seek a second opinion if you were also gaslit.
