used to like this place, but this time was a huge disappointment. Instructor Mike spent about 95% of the time on his phone, busy iMessaging instead of teaching. Totally unprofessional.
I rarely leave reviews but YBX genuinely deserves the hype. I’ve bounced between gyms, classes, and fitness phases for years, and this is the first place that actually sticks. The workouts are intense but smart. You’re pushed without feeling destroyed, and every class feels different (in the best way). Joining YBX has truly transformed my lifestyle and strengthened my mindset. The combination of yoga and strength training helps me build flexibility and strength at my own pace. The coaches are incredibly supportive, and the positive atmosphere makes it easy to stay motivated and enjoy the journey.
I didn't get great vibes from this place in the several times I attended. First of all, the boxing classes are a joke. We get that it's mostly boxing for fitness, but I saw MANY (if not all) class attendees not taking the proper precaution and wrapping their hands. Very basic requirement that should be reinforced to avoid injuries even if you aren't a pro boxer.
