Before Dr Patel was a member of MDVIP, he diagnosed my rash as shingles, as did his associate, Dr Feuer. I consulted a dermatologist, who correctly diagnosed a herpes rash. Dr Patel was so angry at my having gotten a second opinion that he refused to treat me. In the presence of secretaries and other patients, he said he would not treat me even in the event of a heart attack. It was both shocking and shockingly unprofessional. What about his oath?
