Dr Metwally took excellent care of me during my total hip replacement. He was warm and personal and answered all my questions prior to and after surgery. I had a great result and he gave me a lot of confidence which is very important when selecting a surgeon.
I was referred to Dr. Metwally and had an anterior total hip replacement in April, 2017. My recovery took some time but I walked a lot and was so very excited that I could walk! After a few months I could go for long walks, which I love to do and continue to do each day! Before surgery I could not even walk a half block and I now walk about 4 miles almost every day. To walk again after years of lacking mobility has been such an incredible blessing! I am so appreciative of Dr. Metwally!
Dr Metwally did a robot knee replacement on me this year. He is compassionate and caring doctor that is highly skilled in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Metwally and staff are a professional team who have helped me understand the procedure of total hip replacement for both hips. I appreciated the minimally invasive approach from he anteriorentry. Dr Metwally is by far the best doctor/ortho doctor. I have had 5 surgeries with him. He is not only the best ortho surgeons but has the best bed side manner. I always feel safe and secure when I go into surgery. I can honestly say that I absolutely adore and love this doctor. I'd you ever need hip or knee surgery go to this wonderful Dr Metwally. Plus he has an amazing staff
I received my second total hip replacement from Dr. Metwally in July of 2016. He also replaced my first hip in August of 2015. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Dr. Metwally for his professionalism, experience and his ability to really listen to what your challenges are. To complete this journey is no small task and I felt supported throughout by Dr. Metwally and his staff. Thank you so much for helping me get back my life and mobility! You are appreciated!
I had a total Mako knee replacement six weeks ago. I experienced minimal pain after the procedure, and was released from physical therapy after 4 weeks. My dealings with all facilities involved were very professional, and all procedures were well thought out and executed. In short, I think Dr. Metwally is extremely well qualified, and the Mako procedure is simply amazing. I can't recommend Dr. Metwally and Mako surgery too highly. Very professional.
Dr. Metwally and his staff gave exceptional care to our mother. Not only did the results of her hip surgery exceed our expectations, but we found Dr. Metwally to be very patient, warm, engaging and humorous in his interactions with our mother. Dr. Metwally has improved the quality of our mother’s life, and we are most appreciative!
Met with Dr. Metwally and he examined my knee. He showed me the X-ray inwhich I could see I had no cartilage left. He recommended a partial replacement, gave me the stats on this procedure and explained the advantages. He gave me the potential problems, but felt this was the best for me. I said OK and he scheduled the procedure 2 weeks later. I had the procedure on July 4. I did not stay over night at Providence Hospital, I went home the same day. I mowed my lawn in 1 week. It did hurt.
