RecommendedI just took up knitting a week ago, with a friend of mine, and Yarnology has quickly become our favorite place! They have a beautiful selection of great yarns to choose from, as well as all of the other supplies you'll need. Additionally, the ladies who work there are all so nice and helpful, and were very accommodating to our many questions as we figured this knitting thing out. I was in town for GRSF for the first time ever and was pleasantly surprised to find this shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful but didn’t hover (IMO a delicate balance that is hard to achieve in small local stores), they had a huge selection of beautiful yarns, and the space was trendy & welcoming. This place is magical starting with the customer service down to the beautiful yarns. I have always been met with such friendship when I walk through the door. The customer service is top notch, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. The yarn selection is beautiful and laid out in a user friendly manner. The group knitting area with couches facing each other naturally creates interaction amongst people visiting the shop. The yarnologists are all fantastic! I love going in there to see the beautiful things everyone is working on.
This is the best knit shop in south east Minnesota! Don't miss a chance to stop in and sit and knit with these gals. Super welcoming (I come in everytime we are at the local horse show)
