Yarn Charm is a family small business owned by Lori and Craig Kowal. We started the shop and this web site because we wanted to share the types of yarns and accessories that we like and use ourselves, at a decent price. We are located in Nebraska where knitted and warm things frequently come in handy.

Yarn Charm has charming, helpful employees! Lori and Leslie are great people and as well as ordering special yarns or aiding in finding what I need, they are nice, interesting women to visit with. Yarn Charm gets my vote for friendliest yarn store in Lincoln!

Best yarn store ever!!!! Friendly, helpful, great selection of wonderful yearn. I did a brioche stitch class with the owner Lori, and with her help and patience I finished my 1st brioche project. I couldn’t have done it without her.

I recently came into the store with a really challenging sweater construction that not even Lori has seen in its exact form, but she was able to help me get it assembled so I could continue knitting. Lori is knowledgeable and confident with knitting and when she doesn't know the exact answers she knows exactly which reference(s) do. Also, Yarn Charm is constantly special ordering yarn, needles, and other knitting supplies for me. She's very prompt to order and lets me know right when they arrive. Thank you, Lori!
Friendly and engaging owner and staff. Every Tuesday evening I attend a knitting group at the business. Lovely people, great atmosphere, it makes my week!
Lori is so helpful. I needed help with a project "fixing" a project today and she was able to help me out. She has a great selection of beautiful yarn!
