I have used their services for several years, but I am now no longer a customer. I noticed throughout the year that they took less than ten minutes at my property each week and it cost me $60 each time. Seems expensive per hour but I let that slide. However, today they have come to “cut” my lawn. It’s well below freezing and it has been freezing at night for more than a week. The grass is clearly dormant now for the year. Yardworx did an excellent job cleaning up the yard, mowing and trimming. I would recommend them to anyone.
The back garden is just lovely. We have a gently curved lawn and deep garden beds planted with the plants that we had carefully chosen. We love the grey brick edging and the arbour. Thank you so much.
I’m disappointed with the service I received. I was overcharged for work that was not completed as promised. I ended up having to clear the garden beds myself as the blow-out was not completed. I was quoted extra to blow out the window wells, and yet they contain exactly the same amount of debris as before. Additionally, a mature peony plant in my garden was cut down to the base without my consent, which was upsetting and unnecessary. I expected more care and professionalism. My job was very labour intensive and the office staff were so rude and immature, that I could not work with Yardworx. When I mentioned that I did not want multiple people so that there would be idle hands, watching one employee mow the grass, Yardworx told me my expectations were too high. It is too much to expect all workers on site to be working??? Also they insisted that all grass clippings be bagged and removed for $3.50 a bag. I have a compost pile that I wanted some of the clippings to be put , and they refused!!! Blat... read more
