My son said it was the best crab cake he has ever had! In the same weekend, we had to go again! We then enjoyed the class chowder. AWESOME!
Food was great but we ordered the Lobster Mac'n Cheese for $14.99 and it was a very small portion.
The food was okay. Not bad but nothing special. We did get to see a rat while sitting on the patio. The staff seemed to be coming and checking on all the other customers but never checked on us. But we are use to that since we have kids.
All of us had great food, clam chowder was fantastic.
My wife and I drove in from WNY and are in Boston for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. While here I was determined to try a few Boston favorites...clam chowder, lobster roll and steamed lobster. I don't think this place lived up to the hype at all. Had the clam chowder and seafood combo #1. The chowder was good, but not as good as The Black Pearl in Newport. The seafood was good. The calimari was tender, the shrimp not over cooked, and the fish was tasty. All of this was fried. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food. All of this and a fountain drink was less than $25. Weather was great so we ate outside. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back when in town.
Had the Hot Lobster Roll it was ok the Lobster was a bit over cooked. My wife had the Lobster Mac and Chesse and the Lobster was a bit over cooked in it as well. If I ever make it back I will have to try something different. Overall the atmosphere was nice.
