Great customer service – I started going to Yankee on a recommendation from my roommate, and I've been extremely happy with the service. I can trust Jay to tell me what needs to be done to fix my car for safety reasons, what can wait until I get paid, and what's a "when you get a chance." On one occasion, the car developed an odd problem just as I was leaving after a repair, an Jay dropped everything else to find and fix it. (Manufacturer's problem-- heat shield detached.) WORST MECHANIC YOU WILL EVER MEET – owner jay johnson is a sociopathic lying con man - inflated prices for shoddy work - do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place

A year+ after agreeing to a settlement, no payment from him – Yankee owner Johnson agreed to an out-of-court settlement in which he would pay me a portion of the money I had paid him for a car he had in his possession but did not, in fact, own. More than a year since then, I'm still waiting for the money.
