I was referred by my orthopedic surgeon to have inserts made for my shoes. I called Yanke Bionics and Wanda answered. Wanda was extremely rude from the beginning of the call. Refused to schedule an appointment even though I had a written referral she advised my doctor would have to call her. The orthotic fitter, Noi, was fine and even expedited handling of my shoe inserts in order to deliver before my vacation began. On the other hand, the office staff worked hard to assure my frustration and dissatisfaction, claiming the orthotic was not covered by my insurance and insisting on payment up front. I complied with their request and then checked with my insurer, who advised me that the only way to know if covered was to submit claim. Unless your insurance will not allow another company to provide DME use another place. Company is extremely disorganized and doesn't even verify any insurance prior to coming in for a fitting. Hours aren't always correct and it takes multiple follow up calls to ensure a prescription is processed.
