I was asked by the male ultrasound tech if I would like a female tech due to him noticing that I hesitated when he asked if I was comfortable with him doing the procedure. In my head, I thought there was a female tech in another room so I said “yes”. He then tells me that I need to reschedule. Long wait times in walk-in ER. But, if you are seriously hurt, you'll get attention immediately. Once it's your turn for attention, fantastic work! All the support staff are great and care about your problem, and you! Hope I won't have to need their services again
I have been to this hospital twice in the past month, once for a family member whose skin was literally ripped off in some areas from falling off a dirt bike onto concrete and once after my family was in a car accident. Both times, the experience was completely unacceptable. When you check in, you wait about 45 minutes before they even take your vitals in the middle of the waiting room.
