I haven't had to deal with this agency in the last year or so, but when we tried desperately to get help for my mother, who was in mental health crisis, this agency was primarily an impediment. It was exhausting and defeating trying to get minimal help from them and I heard from staff in other counties that Yamhill County has a bad reputation in this area. I strongly urge anyone struggling with mental health to exhaust any and all other resources before utilizing this facility as an absolute last resort, getting what you need, and finding another facility as fast as possible. I was skeptic of going to this clinic because of the poor things I had heard about it, but it seemed to be my only option, and I was left with a traumatic experience of wrongfully being held against my will by a staff member I did not even have an appointment with.
