Overall, it was a great experience. We came from another hibachi place here in Tyler to Yamato, and I’m glad we did. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and they even have a koi pond out front — though it’s goldfish for now instead of koi. Still, I wasn’t there for the pond. Our server was attentive, and the chef was fantastic — he kept my daughter and the two little boys at the table entertained with jokes and fire tricks. This is our place as my husband and myself call it. We come here on Valentines and our Anniversary. We have never been disappointed. Always pleased with everything . We always get the Hibachi. Last night Sept 29th 2025 we came for our Anniversary and had the best experience. Thank you all for making our Anniversary so wonderful.
The wait staff is always great and the food is delicious!
