This is probably my favorite restaurant. The food is always delicious and has a fresh taste that leaves you feeling comfortably full and satisfied without the heavy, greasy feeling from fast food. I really like their Bentos and their Sunset roll. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for dates, and bigger groups alike. Not great at answering phone, even when not busy
I believe my Udon in the making started with a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Throw in some noodles and viola!
My wife and I went to Japan last year and went to some pretty excellent places. The staff here are actually Japanese and make real Japanese food. It's all excellent. They certainly have a bunch of Americanized options since we're in Utah but the overall quality, seasonings, and technique are some of if not the best Japanese food in Utah
This is my single favorite restaurant in the area. I have been going to Yamato for ten years and haven't had a bad experience once.
