Hibachi and Sushi Great friendly atmosphere. Try tons of sushi prepared by the "sushi artists". Great seafood, steak fixed just the way you like it. One of my favorite places.
Best Restaurant in Galveston! I have been to a lot of restaurants in the Galveston area when i go down to the beach but none have been up to par. When i went to Yamato, the people were extremely nice and the chefs were very entertaining. My food was as good as the environment that i was in. I am going to go to Yamato every time I go down to Galveston. It is truly a gem in the area.
Fantastic and Fun This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Galveston. It is different from the constant seafood and mexican food options and it's much more fun. The staff is very nice and efficient. The best part of this restaurant in my opinion is the habachi grill. The chef comes directly to the table and cooks your meal in front of you. Well done hibachi, price is reasonable. We got one of the seasonal sushi rolls and it was very good, too.
No complaints! Fast quality service. Fair price for fresh made to order sushi. There was habachi grill available as well.
