My husband is the actual student that rolls here. I contacted staff because I wanted to surprise him with a birthday cake after class. Its located in downtown Bethesda so parking can be a bit of a challenge, but the space is clean and inviting. They have plenty of lockers and mat space. The decor is minimal but updated and modern. But the staff Yifan and Chris put the icing on the cake! Both were helpful and didnt hesitate to help me with my request. If I ever decide to take up this training...it will be here.
My kids started at Yamasaki academy when they were 5 and 6, 14 years ago. BJJ was the best activity we could have gotten them involved in which helped build their confidence, coordination, respect, discipline, and not to forget lifelong friendships. Terrible teachers. Unclear terms, mismatched contract, and unprofessional behavior—take your business elsewhere where they focus on teaching… not ripping people off.
