Great and helpful staff, helped me pick something very local. The fish and the Japanese pickles were very good, reasonably priced. The lime cake was fine. No seating area, and the park nearby has no shade.
I love this place. I was visiting Oahu for 9 days and had to stop here three times just to get my haupia fix. They have the best haupia. Everything else there is good too but their haupia is next level.
My Absolute Favorite spot for Hawaiian Food and Ono side goodies I do miss that they no longer serve Opihi it not the same without it but I will survive. Tony
Great classic plate lunch. I tried their kalua chicken with cabbage and rice, Mac salad, poi, and kulolo. They have a few different fresh poke options and pipikaula. Lots of haupia desserts. Great place to go for takeaway if a bit small and out of the way. No place to sit or anything and it gets a bit crowded inside but that's ok.
Ordered catering for a meeting. The food was delicious. And it was well packed. This is really important when transporting large amounts of food. The staff were very considerate. They helped me carry the food to my car. I would definitely recommend Yama's for catering (or lunch).
