Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and many years of experiences, he is keeping me alive .
Not enough room to tell of how disappointed we were with Dr. Yamada. Rude, refuses to answer questions. Impossible to contact his office. After valve replacement could never get an appointment for checkup. Could never recommend this Dr. Or anyone in the group, due to office staff not answering the phone nor returning calls.

i felt rushed, he didn't explain anything about why he was changing my meds, or even tell me the name of the new one. he neglected to tell me the results of the echocardiogram i had the week before, neglected to to tell me the results of the electrocardiogram done that day. he was in a hurry and out the door while i was not done......... did not feel respected or that he even cared. next time i will see his PA keith instead.
I went for my 3 1/2 month check up after having three stents put in my right carotid artery today. The receptionist was very sweet and kind to me. The doctors nurse was also sweet and kind to me. The doctor was not. I had a lot of questions which he answered. But the whole time he made me feel, rushed and couldn’t wait to get rid of me. When I went to the checkout, the receptionist went above and beyond making me feel like she really cared! I guess I have to find a new doctor because I really don’t want to see him again!
My father was under the concierge care of Dr. Yamada. Unfortunately, he was placed in hospice care after a week-long stay in the hospital. Dr. Yamada visited and examined my father every day during that stay and midway through was made aware my father was going to go into hospice. At this point, the defibrillator in my father's pacemaker should have been shut off by his cardiologist. This was never done and when we called the office to come to hospice and correct this oversight, we couldn't even get an answer from him. Final... read more
Have been with Dr. Yamada for many years and doubt if I would still be alive without his experience, knowledge, and care. I am very grateful to be one of his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist in this part of Florida. The office staff & professionals in the group are outstanding and a pleasure to deal with.
Dr Yamada is a caring and great cardiologist . He answers all your questions and explained what he is doing . I find Dr Yamada to be an expert in his field.
I was recommended to see Dr Yamada by my MD. He was kind and a fantastic Dr. He knew my problem quickly and it was taken care of with Excellent results! His nurse was more than nice! If any more problems, he is the one I will see!
