Highest Quality Fish In Town! – Yama has the highest quality fish in town! Coming from New York City, I had tried all the sushi restaurants around town and nothing compares to Yama. The sashimi here is very lively, the service was great and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Yama also has a huge list of premium sake and they know their sakes.
My favorite sushi in Charlotte! – Yama is by far my new favorite spot for sushi in Charlotte. After a long day at work or a hard workout at the gym, Yama is my reward! The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is simply top notch. My favorite routine is to order over the phone and having it waiting and ready when I get there...not to say that I dislike the atmosphere, I just prefer to indulge at home. Great new Sushi restaurant! – My girlfriend and I visited Yama a couple weeks ago and loved it! It was a great change of pace from the other sushi restaurants in Charlotte. The food was great and everyone loved the "boats" of sushi (they literally bring out sushi on a large boat). Its like a hidden gem in South Park over by the new Borders.
Finally Sushi in South Park – Finally there is a sushi restaurant in the South Park area. No more driving the distance to obtain mediocre sushi. Since Yama has opened I have been there several times and every single time I have been warmly welcomed and have always received wonderful service whether I sat at the bar or dined at a table.
