The PA & nurse were friendly, seemed to be medically informed. They were not prepared for someone with a complex case like myself. I’m Chronically ill, on 24 hr oxygen, undergoing maintenance chemo/ immunotherapy, w a long list of advanced diagnoses, including a history of blood clots. I was referred to an unequipped urgent care center. The PA 1st gave me a phone number, for me to schedule an ultrasound who couldn’t fit me in for a wk.
