We love Yakuza. We love the friendly owners and service staff. The food is amazing. One of our favorite spots in Pompano.
Very disappointed. The food was okay and many of the dishes had no taste. The service was probably one of the worst I've seen in a while. Had to ask for things multiple times. They spilled sauce from dirty dishes onto someone at our party and not only once, the same waiter did it twice. We raised the issue to our waitress and she told us the manager would come and no one ever came. They clearly don't care about their customers. There are many other better places in the area.
Yakuza makes amazing sushi, and I used to recommend it to everyone I spoke to. I won't be returning until a manager or owner actually acknowledges my bad experiences. Until then I will only give bad reviews and no longer support the restaurant. Just a week ago, for my birthday, my girlfriend decided to take me there for cocktails and sushi before we went to a show in Miami. Very pleasant! The decor is beautifully designed. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone greeted you and tended to your needs, not just your server. First time in there, would definitely return! Food was delicious and presented nicely.
We were a bit skeptical about the name of the restaurant, like how how can you do sushi and a Thai? But the sushi and service deserves 5 stars. A refreshing take on sashimi with delightful seasoning (truffle oil?) where no soy sauce is needed. I loved their cucumber wrapped rolls with no rice. The presentation also had our table oohing and aahing. The restaurant has a nice ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent wine and sake list, too!
What a great place, staff was great! Food was a cool fusion Asian. Crispy bok choy, OMG!
Immediately Yakuza peaked to the top of my favorite sushi restaurants. I frequent them all throughout Broward. Everything tastes amazing and presentation beautiful.
