The food is good but the pricing is CRAZY and the extra fees are INSANE. only been here once and probably won’t return.
This restaurant does a disservice to the Jamaican community. I was really excited to visit this restaurant when I see visuals of them on social media, but surely this place is deceiving the time that I came to visit this restaurant. It was very slow. Stopped by Yah Mon Caribbean Restaurant while I was in Tampa and it ended up being one of those places you’re glad you tried instead of another chain spot. The jerk chicken had a really good smoky flavor and the spice level was just right — flavorful without being overwhelming. Great Service
I made a reservation for dinner for 12/05/2025 for 6pm a week in advance and the reservation was taken by the owner and I drove from Lakeland, Florida with an out of town guest and when we arrived at the restaurant at 5:50pm, we waited until 6pm to go to the door and the door was locked, no note on the door and I never received an email or phone to advise the restaurant would be closed.
