Stopped by Yah Mon Caribbean Restaurant while I was in Tampa and it ended up being one of those places you’re glad you tried instead of another chain spot. The jerk chicken had a really good smoky flavor and the spice level was just right — flavorful without being overwhelming. Great Service
I made a reservation for dinner for 12/05/2025 for 6pm a week in advance and the reservation was taken by the owner and I drove from Lakeland, Florida with an out of town guest and when we arrived at the restaurant at 5:50pm, we waited until 6pm to go to the door and the door was locked, no note on the door and I never received an email or phone to advise the restaurant would be closed. We read a lot of these reviews and went in with our eyes open. And we had SUCH a pleasant dining experience here. We were seated and told about their online menu - a couple of items were sold out for the night as they’d had many online orders.
