we live in Southport and we would not recommend this place
We signed our receipts and left a tip and then when I checked my bank account they decided to keep helping themselves to my money without my approval!! They haven’t heard the last from me. If you make the mistake of going, at least pay cash! They’re thieves! Now the owner has stated she has the right to add charges to a card for more tip after a receipt has been signed. She then proceeded to hang up on me and refuse to come to the phone when my husband called back. Thieves and cowards.
After living in Southport for two years now we finally gave Yacht Basin a try. Every thing was delicious and the staff is awesome! For a Friday night in the heart of tourist season we only had a 5 minute wait. The fried oysters basket is great. Also the crab dip is worth a try. Generous serving without skimping on the crab. Fun live music also We'll be back
Situated rght by the water. Beautiful view. Lots of marine activity to see while you are dinng. The food is delicious always. Never had a problem with any of the servers. Environmentally friendly - no plastic straws offered. Minimal amount of plastic used.
we were seated quickly and the service was very good. received out good quickly and the server checked on us often. the food was great, and the prices reasonable. Also had a great view!. have been there before and will go again!
