I have been a member at LA Fitness since the 67th Ave and Peoria gym opened over 15 years ago. I love the group fitness classes, Terri, Penny, Nelly, and Jo are some of the greatest group fitness instructors I have ever had. However, after being harassed by the "lead trainer", Vatelle(?), for the second time I have had enough. I've been a member for about a month and have visited three different clubs. The last couple times have been to chicago ridge. I overlooked the always dirty locker room (trash in the shower stalls, lockers seem to never be cleaned, broken doors on lockers) and several machines are in disrepair (not dangerous, just difficult to use with things like weight labels missing, bike read outs broken or misaligned). Brand new equipment and although it’s express it has a good amount of room for everyone.
So disappointed! My son wanted to join, so I called and told the sales woman what my sons friend joined and gave her details and she said they would honor the price. Next day drag my sick son with me to enroll my older son. I followed up with their general manager twice. He never called me back. So disappointed!!! Even if she’s new, she gave me a price, HONOR YOUR WORDS!!!!
