I was using just fine and then all of a sudden one day I tried to do the transaction and they asked me to call I called. I verify all my information and then they say that I can no longer use them their services. I asked why and they didn’t tell me why they just said that I couldn’t use the services no more and they couldn’t explain anything to me because of security reason And I thought that was really stupid. Sent a transaction and it seems it was stuck I attempted to cancel and they took out the money half a day later. A completely different transaction I sent was received by person in minutes??? Now the person has double the money what a horrible service and support isn’t a help at all.
I’ve used Xoom for years without problems, but this experience was a mess. A small transfer to a previous recipient in Canada was canceled without notice and my account was deactivated. After waiting 45+ minutes on hold, I verified everything and was told to resend the transfer—only for it to be delayed again and require another verification. This has been the worst experience I have had using this service. When I needed support the most, the only response I received was: “I’m sorry, sir, there is nothing we can do.” No alternatives, no escalation, no attempt to help — nothing. What makes this especially disappointing is that the solution clearly remained within their control, yet no effort was made to resolve the issue.
