I called to understand why I was being charged for the home service plan. I was on the call for 30 minutes with 5 different agents trying to get answres. The last agent dropped the call. I never got a call back. Crooked practices, horrible customer service. I don't recommend.
Awful service. This lender promised the world and then dropped out without a care. Ignored details in the house listing and instructed me to pay $750 for an appraisal to immediately turn around and say oh sorry we missed a detail and arent willing to lend for this property. Also refused to refund any of the appraisal cost that they asked for. Oh and this whole process took them 3 weeks to complete and caused two extensions of conditions to be made. Awful awful service would highly recommend not using them, garbage.
We have been with a mortgage company before but we did not get any benefit from this company, but to our surprise, we were offered $2500 mortgage payments from MCAN. This meant a lot from MCAN to us. We just want to say thank you to the management for deciding to help their clients.
MCAN Mortgage Corporation and Jonathan Askew helped us with our mortgage and did fantastic.
Edit: I'm now very disappointed with the lack of communication since they switched from xmc to Mcan. I made an application to port my mortgage 2 weeks ago for another property, never heard back. Due to this I am terminating my current mortgage with them and getting a mortgage for a new property with my bank. They have surpassed my expectations time and time again.
