Edit: I'm now very disappointed with the lack of communication since they switched from xmc to Mcan. I made an application to port my mortgage 2 weeks ago for another property, never heard back. Due to this I am terminating my current mortgage with them and getting a mortgage for a new property with my bank. They have surpassed my expectations time and time again. Very bad experience, after finalizing very step they stop responding the time came to sign the final documents with lawyer, repeated call went in vain, because of their bad 👎 experience now I left running to other mortgage companies, my advice to all please keep yourself away from this company...

Absolutely archaic and infuriating customer service. MCAN Mortgage Corporation is stuck in the stone age when it comes to financial transactions. I’ve been trying to pay off my mortgage, only to be told that the only way to settle the final balance is by mailing a certified cheque or bank draft. No wire transfers, no online payments—nothing remotely modern or convenient.
