Been with them for 3 years now and so far, so good.
Absolutely archaic and infuriating customer service. MCAN Mortgage Corporation is stuck in the stone age when it comes to financial transactions. I’ve been trying to pay off my mortgage, only to be told that the only way to settle the final balance is by mailing a certified cheque or bank draft. No wire transfers, no online payments—nothing remotely modern or convenient. When I questioned this policy, I was told that a wire transfer (one of the most secure financial transactions available) is somehow less secure than physica... read more
Worst customer service experience. Their website has numerous issues with registration. When you call their phone number, you’re forced to listen to ads or wait on hold for 15-20 minutes. Once a representative finally answers, they speak unclear, don’t understand your concerns, and then hang up—sending you back to square one. Really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this service at all.
MCAN has been an amazing lending partner. They provided competitive rates and amazing service. Great overall mortgage lender.
