It means little dragon A decent priced Chinese restaurant with a great selection of dishes. Good place for any social gathering be it just hanging out with a group of friends or a birthday.
Terrible value. Order moo shu pork, get a plate full of cabbage with 2% pork. Noodle combo with shrimp and chicken? Same result, 95% noodles & not much more, 2 shrimp? No return visit here.
VERY DISAPPOINTED here. Ordered moo shu pork dish and 90& of ingredients were cabbage, 5% mushrooms and maybe 5% pork. Our other plate was combo plate Shrimp, Chicken noodles, but again, only 2 shrimp, and very small pieces of chicken, then about 90% noodles. Terrible.
The dumplings that they have in here are so amazing, there are a lot of kinds so it feels like I am in dumplings heaven in here and they have so many great ways to prepare them as well.

This neighborhood place is artfully run by a delightful two-some. They have created house specials that are original, no small trick in the category of Chinese food. And their reliance on fresh food, in season, assures they are in nature's rhythms. They're so great that I'm reluctant to share this find with others.
Modern Chinese - Excellent – The House Chicken, Spicy Chili Prawns, and Beef / Mushroom dishes are excellent. I live in the neighborhood and have eaten at Xaio Loong 40 times or so and have yet to have a bad meal. Everything that I have ordered has been very good to excellent. Strongly recommend, nice staff as well!!!!!!!!
West Portal eatery specializes in Westernized riffs on Imperial Chinese cuisine. – In Short This small restaurant hosts a steady stream of neighborhood locals looking for approachable Szechuan- and Beijing-style fare in a clean and comfortable setting. Conventional dishes such as spicy kung pao chicken, vegetable chow mein and shiitake mushroom beef in a mild house sauce cater to newbies, while more seasoned Chinese fare fans can choose from slightly more creative entrees like chive dumplings with prawns and gao lan, sliced ... read more
Expensive, not that good, and avoid take out – The food at this place is bland compared to other chinese restaurants. And it is pricey as teh other review notes...dinnre for two is usually close to $40 when our average is usually $30.00...and that's for take out, so if you add drinks to that...you get the picture. I also ordered takeout from this place only to find a piece of GLASS in my food...needless to say, I have not been back. They get a thumbs down on cleanliness, quality of food and prices.
