Dr. Whittier was professional, kind and very knowledgeable - after listening carefully while I rattled off my symptoms she asked several open ended questions and offered her thoughts of a possible diagnosis. Later labs and X-rays confirmed the diagnosis. Dr. Whittier called in a prescription to my pharmacy two days after my visit based on lab results. I am so impressed!
I saw Dr. Whittier about a year ago, the entire time I was there explaining what was going on, giving as much info as I could to help, she acted very bored and like she didn’t want me there. If I could give zero stars I would. Patients come into your office to get help, answers, and remedies. Treating them like they’re an inconvenience to you is counterproductive. I simply used her for a referral after that and never went back to see her. Don’t subject yourself to doctors like this.
45 min late. Interrupted while I was asking questions. I told her it hurt when I dorsal flexed my foot and she asked “Why?” I’m like, I don’t know, I guess we should ask a doctor. Unfamiliar with healthy uric acid levels. Refused to test uric acid after history of gout symptoms, elevated uric acid levels, and family history of gout. Also rude and has attitude in general.
this doctor without question is one of the best rheumatologists that I've seen Dr. for that matter she listens and she goes beyond measure to determine the best possible treatment and outcome for the patient. it hurts my heart that people because they don't like the way it goes for them that they have to drag a wonderful doctor like this through the mud. I have to say that that's part of the reason we don't have great doctors anymore because people can't deal with the answers they're given. so again with me I had no problems... read more
I would not recommend Dr. Whittier. Additionally, If you have a poor experience with a physician at this practice, you are not allowed to change doctors (per office policy).
