Disrespectful customer service when I tried to call when my power was out in the middle of a snow storm. I also find it unacceptable for there to be a power outage when it’s snowing and 26 out. This company is trash. I’m looking to get away from this company and their outages every other day.
Never experienced a company that has more planned and/or unplanned outages
I’ve never experienced more losses of power than when I moved into an area that gets energy from xcel. Imagine the one thing you do, also happens to be the thing you’re worst at.
Had a recent power outage on 3/3/26 in the area of W. Jewell Place and Holland Court. I have a transformer box in out backyard that needed to be accessed by the service tech. The tech that came out to do the repairs was very angry and rude. He showed up when my 13 yo son was home alone. We have a lock on our gate that my son was unable to find the key for. 1/5 Twice, my power was shut off during a basic house-to-house move even though I followed the process. And then on a Sunday—on my birthday—there’s a “3-hour estimated outage” with zero explanation. If you enjoy paying premium prices for chaos, confusion, and radio silence, this is your company.
