When we arrived they informed us the room the reserved was not available. I know what's the point of reserving? They ended up giving us a room with one bed and a pull out futon. You would think that isn't bad except the futon was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. It was like having a metal rod on your back. Myself and the other person took turns switching from the futon to the bed every night. Make sure your reservation is an actual reservation no one should experience the uncomfortable experience we did.
Old rooms. But great location. Only value is proximity to the pier. Old pillows and beds.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Perfectly placed right across the Santa Monica pier. A walk across McDonald's and nice restaurants for dinner dates or laid back meals. Service was wonderful with self parking in the building so no worries on where to park the car. We got a room with a fun view of a neighboring park. Clean bathroom and hot running water. I will definitely recommend this hotel to visiting family and would definitely return here myself.
