I was hired 1 week ago and quit today. I was told my training wouldn’t be paid and the first 3 days I was told to show up at 3 and I did waited 30-45 min for manager to show up to train me for all 3 days. Then was told by lady manger to do things one and and by a different associate to do it another way and then told I’m doing things wrong but I’m just doing what I’m told. Expect no flexibility if you make an honest mistake with your dates. After a stressful week I made a mistake with my one night reservation. When I checked my email it was asking me to review my stay which I found odd. I double check and see my mistake, I call the hotel and explain the situation, the lady at the front desk tries to sell me a new room which is even more expensive than what I originally payed for. The continental breakfast was joke, rasine bran, and fruit loops, and some Danish from Costco or Sam's, and some assorted fruit, they only had enough waffle to last until 7 so if you weren't up and at em first thing in the morning you'd be left for cereal, they had an indoor pool (but it was closed for maintenance) the staff acted like we was a major inconvenience to them, even though they were barely at half capacity. Hotel is fine. I have stayed in a number of hotels in the Omaha area in this price range and the Wyndham is probably above average for this price range. They have a decent breakfast and the rooms are spacious. Keep your expectations appropriate, it isn't a 5 star hotel. It is however a decent place to lay your head down.
