We stayed at this hotel for a union business trip to the southern Houston area, and its central location offered exceptionally convenient access to nearby business hubs. stayed because it was near NRG / Reliant stadium for a weekday concert. the lobby was PACKED with others of the same idea. Took about 30 minutes to check in and had to leave everything in the car because there was a line just as long for the elevators. After that the place was great lol. Nothing crazy but reliable and the rooms have what you need to get the job done. All staff were friendly and helpful. Did get charged $30 for parking. Unsure if that's standard or due to the event.
The whole hotel smells of must and mold. Got to original room and musty/mold smell was so bad we had to request another room...TV was not working to add insult to injury. New room was a little better but still had musty/mold smell. The room had no fridge and toiletry amenities we barely enough for 2 people. We had breakfast at the in hotel restaurant, one server so wait was long and the final coup de grau was they did not have pepper. NO DOGS! Booked this place through Expedia specifically because they advertise as pet friendly, dog photos and all over their listing. I even reached out weeks in advance to confirm I’d have my dog with me, and got no red flags. Then I actually show up and suddenly “no pets allowed.” Wouldn’t even let my dog step foot in the lobby. Absolute joke of a policy, false advertising, and nobody bothered to tell me until I was standing there with my dog and my bags. You suck. Do better.
Claims it is pet friendly online, yet it isn’t. Pretentious staff especially Shila and Amal.
