Lieska was AMAZING and helped us get four chairs in the sun by the pool. She was super attentive and truly made our experience!!!!
Overall the hotel was in a great location with great amenities. Staff was friendly throughout. Rooms were clean with a decent view. Check in and check out were very smooth. It was nice to have access to valet parking (those guys were amazing) and chairs at the beach. Also, I had a foot massage at the spa which was excellent - maybe even my favorite moment at the hotel. Prepare to get super hot while sleeping, like sweaty hot. Nice location, however the hotel is too cheap to let you enjoy your sleep comfortably, because the temperature in the room resets to a much hotter temp while you are sleeping. Which is entirely ridiculous for what they charge. I would give the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach ZERO STARS if it was an option for this alone.
It is 2:17 am and I am in room 801. Lovely room and inter coastal view. BUT sleep is Impossible because a bar, The Boxer, across the street is extremely loud, thumping music all night. Hotel front desk says there is nothing they can do. They offer no solutions. I even called the non-emergency line for the Clearwater police and they just brushed me off. I have not been able to sleep before 3 am in the 3 nights here so far because of the booming base and music and people screaming at The Boxer. It just sucks.
