I got stuck in false river for bad weather trying to fly back home. This was the hotel provided by my employer and was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My first room had black mold on the walls. My second room had no visible mold but smelled so strongly like mold and so musty like wet carpet I got nauseous. I asked for a different room and was helped very quickly (the gentleman working the front desk was very nice) but the room still smelled the same. BEWARE Lets get into my horrifying night......let's just say you better get an airbnb if you plan on coming to New Roads. Made it to the hotel around 10:20 pm. We walk inside the lobby and immediately notice its hot! A/C barely working. There's small floor fans everywhere. We get our keys and go up to our room 219. Overwhelming smell of something. Strong musty and moldy smell in our room. Stayed one night and could not wait to leave. The place needs an overhaul. Lobby and common areas were hot. It felt like there was no air-conditioning. Find an airbandb or keep driving!

Room wasn't clean, A/C didn't work, very humid, elevator broke, mold on the walls near the elevator, I left IMMEDIATELY and they are trying to refuse my refund.
